Description

Echo Chamber simulates the environment of social medias. You play as a supporter an abstract ideology and have to increase its following by publishing posts on social media, competing against two other ideologies. but be careful - the more popular it becomes the harder it gets to keep the other members at bay, and things might get out of hand.

One of the main features is the simulation of the digital environment. It takes place in a 2-Dimensional representation, where multiple forums of varying interests are placed. People meet there, interact and exchange their interests, influencing one another and might gain new interests, or radicalize their already existing ones - including their allegiance to an ideology. You can influence peoples opinion and radicalization by strategically placing posts in locations/forums where they'd stir up controversy.

If you do well your ideologies popularity increases, and it's followers are more and more radicalized, resulting in you losing control over them. They start acting on their own more and more, spreading their radical believes and resorting to more and more violence.
