Description
Our game idea: People party in a haunted house and the ghosts don't like it. Problem is, on a Halloween party, no one really cares about some ghosts flying around. The party people own a (too) complex AI system in which they look for nearby fellows and build groups to chill and dance. Of course in groups, no one is scared. Sometimes people have to go to places though and split up, that's when the ghosts have to strike and scare them!
They can move paintings, close doors and turn of lights or just simply boo hoo them when they are more isolated. Scare them enough to make 'em panic before they find new groups and calm down again! The game is over when the party is.
Sadly, we didn't manage to produce a viable build. Although most mechanics are in play, every new feature damaged two old ones. Our learning: spend more time planning what's essential for the experience you want to create. Also, make clear who is capable of what. Show some initiative and be proactive, especially in bigger teams, do what you think would be cool, you will probably find a way to implement it.
