Hey Jammers, it’s time for our summer jam! This time, we’ve planned a special Game Jam for you: For the first time, we collaborate with the Hamburger Fern-Hochschule. But what does it mean? The theme of the game jam will be “Serious Games”. A professor of the Hamburger Fern-Hochschule will give us an introduction to the theoretical background of the theme and propose some topics. Additionally, we’ve invited students of the university who are not part of the gaming scene to diversify our jam and the games you develop. Other than that all organizational parts of the game jam will stay the same: The Game Jam kicks off on Friday, 14/07 at 5:00 p.m. (when we will let you into the building). The introduction and lecture will follow an hour later at 6:00 p.m. As always, InnoGames will cater for the entire weekend with food/drinks and W-Lan. You will need to bring everything else you might need (sleeping bags, hardware, SOCKET ...;) ) Since Game Jams tend to be very busy, we recommend earplugs etc., especially if you want to sleep well ;D Attention: We can’t offer you showers this time. If you don’t have a team by the time the Game Jam starts, we will try to form teams onsite. To facilitate the process, we will have name tags in different colors to represent specific fields (Game Design, Dev, Graphics, etc.).
